Terms of Service

Last Updated: October 2026

1. About These Terms

These terms apply when you use the Metconic mobile app and the Metconic web app at app.metconictraining.com (together, the “Service”), provided by Metconic Training Pty Ltd (“Metconic”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

2. Your Account

  • You must provide accurate details and keep your password secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
  • Tell us promptly at the address below if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
  • You must be at least 16 years old, or have a parent or guardian’s permission, to use the Service.

3. Health and Safety

Metconic is a training tool, not medical advice. Exercise carries a risk of injury. Consult a doctor or qualified health professional before starting a new training program, particularly if you have a medical condition, an injury or are pregnant. Train within your ability, use correct technique and appropriate equipment, and stop if you feel pain, dizziness or discomfort. Workload, fatigue, heart-rate and readiness figures are estimates to help guide your training; they are not diagnoses.

4. AI-Generated Content

Some features use artificial intelligence, for example turning pasted workout text into a structured workout, suggesting workouts, or generating a training program. AI output can be incomplete or wrong. Review workouts, weights and programs before you follow them, and adjust them to your ability.

5. Gyms and Coaches

If you join a gym using a join code, the gym’s owner can see your training data as described in our Privacy Policy. Coaches are responsible for the programming and advice they give their members. You can leave a gym at any time from your profile.

6. Third-Party Services

You can choose to connect services such as Apple Health, Health Connect, Concept2 Logbook or Garmin Connect. Those services are provided by third parties under their own terms. We are not responsible for their availability or for data they supply.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • access or try to access another person’s account or data without permission;
  • interfere with, overload or reverse-engineer the Service, or bypass its security;
  • use the Service for anything unlawful, or to upload content that is harmful, misleading or infringes someone else’s rights.

8. Your Content and Our Service

Your training data belongs to you. You give us permission to store and process it to provide the Service to you (and, if you join a gym, to show it to that gym’s owner). The Metconic app, website, workout library and analytics are owned by Metconic and are licensed to you for personal use while you have an account.

9. Changes and Availability

We are continually improving Metconic and may change, add or remove features. We aim to keep the Service available but cannot guarantee it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. If we make significant changes to these terms, we will let you know through the Service or by email before they take effect.

10. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that cannot be excluded. Where our liability can be limited, it is limited, at our option, to supplying the Service again or paying the cost of having it supplied again.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for injury, loss or damage arising from how you choose to train, or from relying on estimates, AI-generated content or coaching provided by others through the Service.

11. Ending Your Account

You can stop using the Service at any time and delete your account in the app or web app (Profile & Gym → Delete account), or by contacting us. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms. Sections 3, 8 and 10 continue to apply after your account ends.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland and the courts that may hear appeals from them.
